Summary: St Kilda is on a roll just at the right time, having won five of their past six games to be on the brink of forcing their way back into the top eight. They missed an opportunity to boost their percentage with an unexpectedly narrow 10-point win over Carlton last week but can bounce back against a Bulldogs side which has been hit by injury and is down on form. Scott West is poised to return to the midfield but will be unlikely to be at his best. It's unclear what effect Luke Darcy's decision to retire at the conclusion of 2007 will have on his teammates. The Dogs' draw is the problem. If they are to make it to the finals they will have to overcome Adelaide at home and pacesetters Hawthorn and the Kangaroos.
Key: St Kilda's attack seems far too potent for the Bulldogs to handle with Fraser Gehrig and Nick Riewoldt joined now by Justin Koschitzke, back from suspension. Tip - St Kilda by 30 points
