Summary On the one hand, Richmond showed with
last week's sizzling win over Melbourne they are a much better side
with brilliant forward Nathan Brown back. On the other hand they
now take on a side which caused one of the most impressive upsets
of the year - beating West Coast at Subiaco last week. St Kilda was
helped by a sudden return to form by forward Justin Koschitzke -
but as quickly as he reappeared he vanished - nobbled for the next
fortnight at least with a hamstring strain. In the middle through
Shane Tuck, Nathan Foley and Daniel Jackson and in the backline
through Graham Polak, the Tigers were unbeatable last week - but
the Demons were woeful. St Kilda should be inspired now to go on
with the job for the second half of the season. A one-win Richmond
side, even with Brown, will be determined but may not find the job
so easy this time around.
Key Richmond's attitude will be crucial. After
waiting all season for a win, will they succumb to a let-down or
will it be enough to carry them to a second straight victory?
