Summary Rod Butterss is right. Something is
undermining St Kilda, but whether it is ex-coach Grant Thomas is
unclear. The Saints are still yet to fire under new coach Ross
Lyon, and three straight losses has them in danger of slipping from
finals contention. President Butterss' spat with Thomas is just
another headache the Saints could do without. How they bounce back
against the Kangaroos is another. The Roos won six games straight
but were brought back to earth via a thrashing from West Coast last
weekend. But the Kangaroos have played some of their best football
at Telstra Dome, where their game plan of moving it quickly has
worked impressively well.
Key If the Kangaroos can recapture the work rate
and attack they showed showed early in the season, then they might
just prove too good for a St Kilda side badly lacking in both
areas.
