Summary The situation has reversed since the
Kangaroos outgunned the Magpies in round five. Collingwood have
burst into genuine finals contention while the Roos are struggling
to keep their hopes alive, given a little life by their battling
win over Port Adelaide last week. Veteran Roos midfielder Shannon
Grant, who by now should know better, has kept the club in the
spotlight off the field this week for the wrong reasons - yet
another alcohol-related incident, after which the club bungled
badly in trying to explain it.
Key No club in the competition has a better set of
small forwards than Collingwood, with Paul Medhurst, Alan Didak,
Leon Davis and Dale Thomas all potential matchwinners.
Tip Collingwood by 25 points
