Summary Collingwood are a team rated higher than their current ladder position by almost everyone, on the strength of their impressive recent displays against Geelong and last week's consummate shutdown of Sydney. Adelaide by contrast have confirmed the suspicions of sceptics by falling short of top eight opposition in each of their past three meetings, most recently being crushed by Geelong at home. But the Crows possess a more than handy recent record against the Magpies, most notably in Melbourne, where they have been victorious on each of the clubs' past three meetings - all at Telstra Dome. However a dysfunctional forward line and the nagging discipline of this year's Collingwood model should be enough to hand Adelaide a fourth straight defeat.
Key Can Adelaide find a workable forward structure against a team capable of applying the same sort of pressure that reduced the Crows to a quivering mess against Geelong?
Tip Collingwood by 20 points
