Summary The Kangaroos have spent much of the week since their draw with Sydney understandably complaining about the Swans' extra man debacle, so it's hoped for their sake coach Dean Laidley has not been too distracted. The Crows are fearsome at home but face a tough night if they are to win and shore up their top four spot. The Kangaroos continue to produce a slick and troublesome team out of a ramshackle headquarters, although they won't want a repeat of last week's effort when they let the Swans climb back, scoring six times in the last six minutes to force a draw. Midfielders like Brent Harvey and Adam Simpson will be hoping for the edge through the superior ruckwork of Hamish McIntosh and David Hale.
Key Crows defender Ben Rutten shapes as a major hurdle for the Roos goalkickers and his expected fight with Nathan Thompson could prove crucial.
Tip Adelaide by 15 points.
