IT'S not like they are being sent on a "Contiki Tour", but Swans' doctor Nathan Gibbs believes footballers will continue to travel overseas in search of medical and surgical remedies to expedite their recovery from injury.
Gibbs was speaking following the Swans latest foray into European medicine having successfully sent Adam Goodes and Craig Bolton to have groin hernia surgery.
The operations, performed in Munich by Dr Ulrike Muschaweck, speeds up the recovery period from three to four months, to less than six weeks.
