Geelong's Max Rooke will miss this weekend's match against Brisbane after he accepted a one-game ban for bumping.
Rooke was charged for his front-on bump on Adelaide captain Mark Ricciuto in the third quarter of Sunday's match at AAMI Stadium.
His hit left Ricciuto dazed and groggy and forced him from the field.
Ricciuto did not return in the final quarter, with Adelaide trainers seen working on his back.
The Cats host the Lions at Skilled Stadium on Sunday
afternoon.
In other news, three players have avoided fronting the tribunal
tonight after the match review panel cleared them of any
wrongdoing.
St Kilda's Steven Baker was found not to have a case to answer
after Kangaroo Brent Harvey complained of a head-butt to
umpire Brett Allen at Telstra Dome on Sunday.
The panel investigated the incident and found Baker had
vigorously blocked Harvey's run at the ball and a clash of heads
occurred when Baker had thrown his whole body in his path.
Harvey was not injured and didn't receive medical treatment.
Melbourne defender Ben Holland was cleared of any breach for his contact with Collingwood spearhead Anthony Rocca in the third quarter of yesterday's Queen's Birthday match at the MCG.
The panel deemed that Holland had his eyes on the ball and was attempting a legitimate spoil.
Finally, Melbourne speedster Aaron Davey was adjudged to have only pushed and not struck at Magpie Brodie Holland during a tussle in the third quarter.
