SUSPENDED Sydney forward Barry Hall has not contemplated suing the AFL over the wrist injury he suffered when he crashed into the fence at ANZ Stadium last month.

Media reports yesterday suggested Hall was considering suing the sport's governing body over the broken wrist he suffered in the same game he struck West Coast's Brent Staker, a punch which cost him a seven-week suspension.

But the wrist injury is likely to keep Hall out longer than the seven weeks, hence the talk of legal action.

"I haven't spoken to anybody about it," Hall said. "And if the club was going to do anything about it [in terms of legal action], you would have thought they would have let me know.

"As far as I'm concerned it was totally out of order what was said [in the media reports]. I'm not contemplating [legal action], I haven't even thought about it."
