Len Thompson

Collingwood team-of-the-century member, five-time Copeland Trophy winner and 1972 Brownlow Medallist Len Thompson dies at his home. It is thought the VFL 300-game ruckman had a heart attack. He was 60.

After falling out with the club over a pay dispute, Len returned to the fold and played some of his finest football in the late seventies.
