Len Thompson

Collingwood team-of-the-century member, five-time Copeland Trophy winner and 1972 Brownlow Medallist Len Thompson dies at his home. It is thought the VFL 300-game ruckman had a heart attack. He was 60.

Len spent his last two seasons with Fitzroy and South Melbourne, adding another 33 games to the 268 he played for the Magpies.
