Gleenferrie Oval and Waverley Park, the homes of the Hawthorn football club.

The traffic on the way home from Waverley was legendary, but Hawthorn was starting to woo fans from the outer east before the demise of Waverley Park as an AFL venue. The stadium was very conveniently placed for these supporters.
